Experimental Ham and Corn Rice Porridge

Owing recently to a great rice porridge I had comprised of corn as an ingredient. And due to the fact that my throat's been sore lately and extremely sensitive to oils, this morning I attempted to recreate the sample corn rice porridge at home, with my own little twist - adding in a bit of ham.

Ham and Corn Rice Porridge

Can of corn: 3 spoonfuls and 3-4 spoonfuls of corn marinade from the canned corn
Ham, cubed: any salty square ham, just enough to put some taste into the porridge
3/4 cups of rice
5-6 cups of water

Just mix them all together. Put on moderate to high heat and keep stirring until cooked, maybe after 20-30 minutes.

Not bad, I'd say. Maybe you want to try it out? :)
